About the Author

Liz Lipski, PhD, CCN, CNS, CHN, is board certified in Clinical Nutrition & Holistic Nutrition.  She is nationally known for her pioneering work and expertise in the field of nutrition, food allergy and sensitivity, and digestive health. She is the Director of Doctoral Studies, and Educational Director at Hawthorn University.  Liz is also on faculty at Saybrook University, the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), and the Autism Research Institute. She is on the advisory board for Food as Medicine. Formerly she was on the Nutrition Advisory Board for the Institute for Functional Medicine, and special advisor to the National Association of Nutrition Professionals.

Dr. Lipski is the author of Digestive Wellness now in its 4th edition, Digestive Wellness for Children, & Leaky Gut Syndrome. Rodale press will be releasing her latest title, The Digestion Connection, summer 2012.

After over thirty years of clinical practice her focus has shifted to teaching and writing. Liz offers mentoring groups for health professionals on Clinical & Functional Nutrition.
